Personal
Frederick L. Gordon was born to the late Fred and Vinie Gordon of Brevard, NC.
He received a Bachelor of Theology from Shaw Divinity School, Raleigh, NC
He is married to the former Frankie M. Lewis
They are the proud parents of five children and six grandchildren

Christian Experience
Gordon was saved at the age of fourteen
He was called to preach at the age of nineteen
His pastorage of more than thirty years have included the following churches
Mills Chapel Baptist Church of Black Mountain, NC – 1974-1983
Central Baptist Church of Kingsport, TN – 1983-1992
Bethel “A” Baptist Church of Brevard, NC – 1992-PRESENT
His involvement in mission began at the age of sixteen, when he volunteered to work as a Summer Missionary working in the remote counties of Western North Carolina His love for mission continues as he has worked in mission in Jamaica for the past eighteen years and his work on the Board of Directors of Simon’s Branch (a mission effort to South Africa) for the past four years.
